    Hidden A-day

This week is our virtual spirit week! You can dress for your in-school days and at home days to win gift cards and school merch! The days are as follows: TODAY- Blue and Gold Day, Tuesday- Pop Culture Day, Wednesday- Pajama Day, Thursday- Sports Day, sponsored by the Cancer Awareness Team, and Friday- Spooky Day. Please remember the dress code still applies for spirit week. For more information on how to win prizes, please see the Titan Council Instagram.

In addition to being spirit week, it is also National RED RIBBON Week where we think about the profound choices teens can make to have a successful and positive future without the use of drugs. You may have heard a lot of troubling statistics about teen drug use and they do exist and cause a lot of problems. But there is also good news:

Did you know that nearly 70% of Hidden Valley Students have NEVER used marijuana, 90% have NEVER used inhalants, 94% have NEVER used hard drugs like cocaine, and 96% have NEVER used heroin? Thanks for being the change our community needs to see!

Thanks to everyone who has completed Expect Respect 2020! Whether you complete it on your own or as part of a class, your participation is important. Simply go to blackboard, go to the HVHS Counseling blackboard page and find the Expect Respect Link on the left. Thanks for helping Hidden Valley make bullying a thing of the past!
