  • About the Program
    How about an exciting career in the race car industry either in the shop or at the race track? You won’t believe you’re in school when you take the Motorsports class.  Field trips to Martinsville, Bristol, and Charlotte racetracks; Constructing a drag car; Riding in the Burton race car at a local track – these are just a few of the activities awaiting students in the energized Motorsports class.  Students receive training in welding, fabricating, auto painting, and engine performance. Grade Levels: 9 – 12. Students enrolled in Motorsports Technology are also included as part of the Governor's STEM Academy.
