Information About Instructional Materials

The Code of Virginia (22.1-16.8, 2.2-2827, 18.2-390) requires all schools to list all instructional materials with sexually explicit content.  Any instructional content that may meet the definition of sexually explicit is listed below.  Please contact your child’s teacher directly if you would like to review any of these instructional materials.

Anatomy & Physiology

Anatomy and Physiology covers material related to specific male and female anatomy. Course objectives include instructional materials pertaining to human sexual content, in the nature of human biology. Current instructional materials, including the textbook, contain content related to human sexual structures, sexual response related to human reproduction, and diagrams of basic male and female anatomy.
