Graduation
Congratulations to the Class of 2026!
Graduation will take place on May 26 & 27, 2026 at the Salem Civic Center, unless otherwise noted.
May 26:
2:30 p.m.: Northside High School
5:30 p.m.: Hidden Valley High School
May 27:
2:30 p.m.: William Byrd High School
5:30 p.m.: Cave Spring High School
7:00 p.m.: Glenvar High School (Highlander Stadium)*
* In the event of inclement weather, GHS graduation ceremonies will move to the Salem Civic Center at 8 p.m.
Attending graduation in person? Please remember the Salem Civic Center has a clear bag policy.Bags must be clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and cannot exceed 12" x 6" x 12" or clear one-gallon plastic freezer bags (Ziploc bag or similar) are also permitted.
An exception will be made for items necessary for medical reasons after proper inspections at the door by Salem Civic Center staff.
Prohibited bags include but are not limited to: coolers, briefcases, fanny packs, cinch bags, luggage of any kind, computer bags and camera bags or any bag larger than the permissible size. No diaper bags or backpacks allowed unless clear and meeting new guidelines
