The Roanoke County School Board has selected new assistant principals for Cave Spring High School and Hidden Valley Middle School, effective July 1.
Brian Hall has been selected as the new assistant principal for Cave Spring High School. Hall, the current dean of students for CSHS, first joined Roanoke County Public Schools in 2012 as a special education teacher at Hidden Valley Middle School. He moved to CSHS in 2018 as the dean of students. Hall holds a bachelor’s degree from Virginia Tech, a master’s degree in special education and a certificate in educational leadership, both from Radford University.
Evan Noell has been named the new assistant principal at Hidden Valley Middle School. Noell joined Roanoke County Public Schools in 2010 as an instructional assistant at Green Valley Elementary School. In 2011, he became a special education teacher at Northside Middle School. He moved to teach at Glenvar Middle School in 2014 and Glenvar High School in 2017. In 2019, Noell was named the assistant principal at W.E. Cundiff Elementary School.
“Brian and Evan have demonstrated excellent leadership in their current roles, and I’m pleased they are going to continue that excellence at Cave Spring High School and Hidden Valley Middle,” said Dr. Ken Nicely, superintendent of Roanoke County Public Schools.
