Thousands descend on Richmond to rally for K-12

On January 28, 2019, thousands of educators and supporters from across Virginia descended on the grounds of the General Assembly to express their support for increasing funding for K-12 education.  Organized in part by the VEA and Virginia PTA, the group made their voices clear, calling for the state to provide their fair share of funds for K-12 education.  Several employees from Roanoke County Public Schools, including School Board Chairman Don Butzer joined the rally.
